The Braves 400 Club's first minor league trip of the young season brought members to the new Gwinnett Stadium to take in the game between our Gwinnett Braves and the Charlotte Knights. It was a fun filled evening if the outcome of the game is ignored (the G-Braves lost). The Knights, led by former major leaguer Chris Chambliss (Atlanta Braves 1980-86), defeated our Gwinnett Braves by a score of 8-5. All-in-all, the trip was a huge success with more than thirty Club members in attendance. A true count of Club members participating in this first trip is difficult since it was a "transportation not provided" event and not all of us were seated in the same section due to ticketing constraints.
Care to guess the destination of the Club's first minor league trip?
