Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these courageous .......

So goes the engraving on the James A. Farley Building (the main post office building in New York City), and it is an apt description of the hardy souls that endured the rains prior to, during and after our luncheon on Saturday, September 19, 2009.   The modest turnout was understandable, but those that made it were rewarded by the presence of three Braves players who also braved the weather to attend.   Reid Gorecki, Brooks Conrad and Clint Sammons came to Turner Field a bit earlier than they usually do and delighted their table companions with conversation during the meal.   After the meal all of the players took part in a Q&A session and were very straightforward in their answers.

If you're not in one of the photos, you can be (next time).   Come join in the fun.
