Saturday, February 3rd, was quite a day for Atlanta baseball fans of all ages. The day began with the Atlanta Braves Winter FanFest and ended with the Braves 400 Club’s 41st Annual Eddie Glennon Gameboree. Those that attended both events, started the day in bone-chilling temperatures at Turner Field and ended it that evening in the warmth and pleasant atmosphere of the Marriott Century Center.

The theme of this year’s Gameboree, “Great Moments in Atlanta Braves History”, was re-enforced by the presentation of some of those moments via a DVD, courtesy of the Atlanta Braves.

Those in attendance were treated to comments by the head table guests about the feats seen on the screen. Club members and guests heard from Sid Bream, Dale Murphy, Phil Niekro and Gene Garber as well as the award winners. Feedback from attendees indicates a very successful, fun evening.
