Minor League Manager of the Year

Two time Manager of the Year winner (1998 with Macon Braves). In its first season as the Braves Class A Carolina League Affiliate, Brian led the Pelicans to a 79-60 record. The Pelicans won the Southern Division's second half and made it to the finals against the Wilmington Blue Rocks. The final game of the best of five series was cancelled due to Hurricane Floyd.

Brian's previous managerial stops included Macon, Durham, Sumter and Anderson. Snitker also served as bullpen coach with the Atlanta Braves in 1985 and from 1988 to 1990. Signed as a free agent in 1977, Snitker was a catcher in the Braves' minor league system for four years.
