A five-time 20-game winner and two-time Cy Young Award winner, Tom Glavine is easily the winningest lefthander in Atlanta history. Always at his best in the clutch, he pitched a masterful eight innings of one-hit ball to defeat Cleveland, 1-0, in decisive Game 6 of the 1995 World Series.

Glavine is a seven-time NL All-Star and has 10 post-season victories to his credit. In 1992, he put together a string of 13 consecutive victories (16 starts) setting an Atlanta and modern franchise record.

When he won 22 games in 1993 to tie for the league lead, he became the first NL pitcher since Ferguson Jenkins (1967-72) to record three straight 20-win seasons. His five 20-win seasons overall tie Roger Clemens for the most among active pitchers.

With 199 wins over the last 12 seasons, Glavine is baseball's winningest left-hander during that period and is second only to Greg Maddux among all pitchers in victories in the past 10 years.
