Our first minor league trip of 2008 is to Charlotte, NC  to see our AAA affiliate Richmond Braves and the Charlotte Knights (AAA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox).   We will travel to Charlotte for the game on May 31 and return to Atlanta after the following day's game (June 1).   A block of rooms are being held for us at the Southpark Courtyard.   To make your hotel reservation at the Southpark Courtyard call 1-800-321-2211 and ask for the Braves 400 Room Block.   The rooms held are rooms with either a king size bed or two queen size beds.   These rooms will be held for us until 9 P.M. May 8th at which time they will be returned to inventory for sale to the general public.   Cost of a room is $102.57 which includes all taxes.   Room reservations and payment are your responsibility.   As of this moment, we are confident that tickets will be complimentary.

There is a possibility of renting a minibus to provide group transportation for those members not wanting to drive to Charlotte.   We will require a minimum of twelve riders to make the option reasonable (approximately $50 - $55 per rider).   When making your reservation be sure to let us know if you wish to take advantage of this option.
