More than forty Braves 400 Club members and guests met at State Mutual Stadium in Rome, Georgia to enjoy a meal and a baseball game on the evening of Saturday, May 27. It was Jeff Francoeur Bobblehead Night and the crowd of 5,100 were enjoying a Rome Braves lead when the skies opened up in the 6th inning. The game continued after a forty-five minute delay but the falling temperatures didn't interfere with the Catfish as they got hot after play resumed. A thirteen run 7th inning followed by two run eighth and ninth innings proved too much for the home town Braves. The final score was 18-7 in favor of the visiting Columbus Catfish.  The club is planning a return visit to State Mutual Stadium on June 24th, so if you missed this trip try to come out with us in June.
