Update: Due to the weather and the travel of the guests (some from Florida), the 'Call Ups' Luncheon is being combined with the 'Salute 1954 Atlanta Crackers' Luncheon. This will be an opportunity to honor the 1954 Atlanta Cracker team as well as meet some of the new Braves, so be sure to attend!
The annual Braves 'Call Ups' luncheon will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 21, 2004. This annual tradition will feature Atlanta Braves called up from the minor leagues when the roster expands from 25 to 40 players.
This is a great opportunity to meet some of the young players, many of whom will be getting their first taste of the major leagues. Players on the expanded roster usually answer questions quite candidly and happily sign autographs.
The luncheon will be held at 12:00 P.M. in the 755 Club at Turner Field. The cost of the luncheon is $30 for the general public and $25 for Braves 400 Club members and their guests.
