Atlanta Braves players Brayan Peņa, Tony Peņa, Jr. and Martin Prado joined Braves 400 Club members and their guests in the 755 Club for a delightful luncheon followed by a question and answer session. Each player was asked to introduce himself to the attendees and tell the assembled fans a little about himself.
This luncheon, coming the day after the September 11th Remembrance Observance, gave Brayan Peņa an opportunity to remind everyone of all we have to be thankful for. He, having defected from Cuba, spoke of the freedoms he now enjoys and appreciates. Martin Prado echoed Brayan's views while Tony Peņa described how he grew up and chased fly balls in major league ballparks around the country while his father played in the major leagues.
The players also made themselves available for autographs and photos. As is the case with each new crop of Atlanta Braves players, we met some great young men and we wish them success at the major league level.
